Learning the art of storytelling through media production is an ongoing process.
Amplify allows youth to enter the program at any point in their storytelling journey to find, develop, and express their authentic creative voice.
Amplify is a hands-on, mentorship-driven experience designed to equip young people (ages 14-21) with the essential skills of media production and storytelling.
Through this program, participants will learn to create impactful video, audio, and written content, empowering them to share their unique perspectives, address community issues, and become advocates for social change.

Wendell has spent over 20 years developing stories and developing people. For more than 15 years, he has coached and consulted startups, non-profits, and enterprises — reaching over 20 countries. As the current VP of Marketing & Communications for Youth Rising, Wendell builds and innovates program experiences that empower underserved youth and young adults across the United States. One of these programs is Amplify, where, as Curriculum Designer and Program Director, Wendell is excited to elevate the creative voices of the next generation, instilling in them the confidence to tell captivating stories.
He’s planted in Nashville, TN, where he and his remarkable wife juggle life with their three rambunctious boys.
